I do not claim many things to be Un-American, but this almost certainly is.
The government was supposedly attempting to aid the economy and protect the financial industry. However it appears that the Obama Administration has other plans. The article points out that some banks are trying to repay the money, which makes perfect sense, but the Administration is refusing to accept the money. They want to continue control over the industry even if it comes at tax payers expenses.
This is a gross violation of the people's trust. The American people where upset by corporate bonuses paid out by companies receiving bailout money and they should be upset, but they should be furious that the Obama Administration is not accepting repayment by financial institutions.
What is to be gained by keeping a controlling interest in private business? What are we to do if the government's intervention puts us back into a recession once this one ends?

Six String Silliness
These hams are too much! Adrienne is giving her best rock star impersonation with her toy guitar. Abbie is playing with the real thing, under close supervison of course. Only God knows what Adrienne is playing but Abbie is trying Mary Had a Little Lamb (not the SRV version). Adrienne's axe of choice is a battery powered model from China and Abbie is playing an Ibanez GRX40.
