So I have been away awhile...

So it has been a while since I posted but it is no biggie. Things are moving along. Life is pretty good so there hasn't been a lot to talk about.

I am thinking about changing direction a little bit on the blog. The family is growing up and to be honest the way we communicate has changed. We don't need to update family and post pictures with this blog. So I will do something different with it.

Trip to the Lou

Ryan and I went to Saint Louis. He has been begging me to take him for months now and I found an event worthy of his attention. I took him to a WWE pay per view event the Elimination Chamber. He was able to watch his favorite wrestler John Cena wrestle and even win the Elimination Chamber event. Ryan loved it. He was so excitable that he spilt his beer when the fireworks went off. Oh, Ryan was sporting the lastest fashions fresh from the Budweiser gift shop as we took a tour of the facility the day before.

My Way News - Dems, GOP: Summit will not break logjam on health

But it's unclear whether the House or Senate can muster the votes required by the strategy. As many as 10 Democrats who backed the House version in November - when it passed 220 to 215 - have said they may abandon the revised legislation because it contains somewhat more permissive language on access to abortion in government-sanctioned insurance exchanges.

Obama to spell out new healthcare plan - Yahoo! News

Obama to spell out new healthcare plan - Yahoo! News

Obama plans on using reconciliation to force the unpopular health care program upon an unwitting American public. This is despicable.

Okay, mark it down. Pat is right. There I said it.

November's consequence: A paralyzed government

This is not just a product of November but it will be embolden by November and will drive our nation even deeper into trouble.

Army Investigates Alleged Attempt by Soldiers to Poison Food at Fort Jackson - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com

The U.S. Army is investigating allegations that soldiers were attempting to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson in South Carolina.

The ongoing probe began two months ago, Chris Grey, a spokesman for the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division, told Fox News.

The Army is taking the allegations “extremely seriously,” Grey said, but so far, "there is no credible information to support the allegations."

Five suspects, detained in December, were part of an Arabic translation program called "09 Lima" and use Arabic as their first language, two sources told Fox News. Another military source said they were Muslim. It wasn't clear whether they were still being held.

Grey would not confirm or deny the sources’ information.
