Another event filled exciting week!

The girls had great fun this past week. The first big snow of the season came and the girls played outside. Then they bought Christmas gifts for each other and wrapped them and put them under the tree. Abbriel got to go back to Adventure Club which she really loves. And Adrienne had her play at daycare. She was the inn keeper and was the only participant that had a speaking part in the play. She was wonderful. With Christmas around the corner keep an eye on the blog as I will post pictures of the girls.

Changes

For those of you who do not know: the formula for the Smith Family has changed.

Smith Family = Bradley + Abbriel + Adrienne -Tai

Yes, that is correct! Tai has chosen to remove herself from the equation. This is a family blog so I will not include all of my thoughts on this matter, but you should all know that throughout all of these changes I intend to try and keep the blog and the family up and running.

Yes, I have neglected the site a little for the past 6 weeks but I have had to make a lot of changes and somethings have had to wait. I will include some photos of my place. Thanks to the help of some great friends I have been able to piece together some of my life and make my place liveable for the children and I. Thank you so much all of you.

Keep an eye on the blog in the next few days; I will add some great content for all to enjoy.

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Halloween is done and gone

The girls had a great time at Halloween. They had a great time and enjoyed the evening and brought home a bunch of candy. The girls did find a couple of houses that were too scary for them and Dad did jump out from behind bushes and scare them a couple of times. The night was fun and no one got hurt. We took lots of pictures too. Click on the title link to hear the girls talk about Halloween.

Halloween is Near

The holidays are upon us with this the first installment. Watch out for these spooks on Halloween. Adrienne had a great time at the parties last week but I think both of the girls are really looking forward to Halloween.

Things are changing in the Smith home but you can be assured that the blog will not go away. Please check in regularly to see the newest posts and of course the girls will often post their thoughts with you.

Homecoming Has Come and Gone

The Homecoming game has come and gone and we had a great time from the house decorations on campus to the parade to the awesome game. Nobody does Homecoming better than those whom invented it. God Bless the University of Missouri. We had a great ham and walked over to the game. The kids were great and we were joined in our fun by friends and family. The Gentry's joined us for some fun at the Zou. Check with us for the upcoming game against rivals Iowa State in a big time revenge game this week. Don't forget to check the link for the girl's thoughts on the game and Halloween.

Technical problems

I regret to inform loyal readers of the blog that with the laptop out of commission the valued audio contributions of Abbie and Adrienne will be missing for some time. Also the pictures and posts will be few and far between until the computer situation is resolved. Thanks for your patience.

The big game is only hours away and the girls are making predictions.

This is the best thread yet. The girls are almost as excited as I am about the Missouri - Nebraska game tomorrow. They would like to share their thoughts about the Tigers and the game. I have encouraged them to say who they think will win the game, the final score, and who are their favorite players. Surprisingly they have picked MU to win the game, but Adrienne could only think of Truman. Unfortunately they have demanded that I say something but you can pretend you didn't hear it if you want. The game is on ESPN at 8:15 PM Central time. Look for us in the south end zone.

Adrienne does her first recording

Adrienne is also in the mix making her blog audio debut. Listen up because they will be adding more in the future. I don't think she completely understood what we are doing but it makes it all the more enjoyable.

Abbie does her first recording.

We are going to add audio to the blog so you can hear what the girls have to say as well as read it.

Are you afraid of clowns? Don't look if you are.

They had a great time at the circus. Post a comment and the girls can respond!

What a beautiful family!

Can you imagine a better looking family than this!! We had a great time in Saint Louis and we are already making plans for next year. I wish everyone could have been there. I know that with this blog everyone can enjoy the pictures and read about what we have done.

The excitement is building!

The upcoming Tigers game is less than two weeks away and the start time has just been announced and it is a good one. The game against Nebraska is going to be on ESPN at 8:15 PM on Oct. 6th. We are all going to go and are looking forward to one of the biggest games in the history of Missouri football. As the latest installment of the Smith family blog we encourage you to suggest the dinner menu for our tailgate. Let us know what you think we should eat.

The First Post

I (Brad) have started this blog for all of our family and friends who are far away from us and cannot always enjoy being with us. There is enough fun for all of us to share with you. The great thing about this format is that you don't have to call our toll free number to communicate with us. Call me cheap but say it on the blog not on the phone and stop with the ridiculous text messages!
