Good times and good friends !

The girls went out and got a hair cut and did some shopping this week. Adrienne also had a family breakfast at the babysitters. We did not stay long but Adrienne was happy none the less. Abbriel has gotten into a bit of trouble at school in the past few weeks. I have had a firm talk with her about this and we should see some improvement. Check out the updated slide show. I went to the movies with my friend Ryan we watched a high brow artistic film - RAMBO. Enjoy the Super Bowl the girls and I are going to a friend's house - we will take lots of pictures don't worry! :)

Playing Hard

Abbriel and Adrienne rounded out the long weekend with a trip to Going Bonkers. I think this is the most aptly named children's establishment on Earth. The video shows just how quickly the girls can get around.

Abbriel's Day Out

Abbriel had a day off from school on Friday and Dad took the day off to join her in some rest and relaxation. She played games during the morning and then the two of us tore up the town throughout the afternoon. The afternoon was highlighted by bowling and playing in an arcade. We had lunch at Jimmy Johns, one of our favorite places to eat together.

The girls are great and are having real fun this weekend staying the night at their friends' houses. Check back later to see how those events went.

I am working hard and trying to get my home complete. I have found this to be quite challenging but it should work out in the end. The deconstruction of Brad is nearly complete. The good part about that is the many new opportunities that may present themselves in the future.

Christmas was wonderful thank you to everyone that made it possible!

Christmas was great this year despite all of the hardship and changes. The holiday's would not have been the same without the kindness and support of some wonderful people. I don't want to leave anyone out so I will not name anyone on the blog but you know who you are and I want all of you to know that you have touched my heart in a way that I did not think it could be.

The children said it was the best Christmas they have ever had and that means everything to me. It was the best gift of the holiday season. They watched movies, baked cookies, and played games the whole day. Come to think of it - this was the first Christmas we have spent together just the girls and I. We really enjoyed the day and I think we made the best of it. Thank you again all of you for everything you did to make this season special. It was really too much for one little girl.
