MLK Jr. Holiday

I was at a loss for something to do on the Monday holiday so I broke down and took the girls to McDonald's for a happy meal (for Adrienne anyway) and then they played in the play area. They get a real kick out of playing in those places and I don't get it, but it is indoors and heated so I let them play for about two hours. They were great and got along the whole time. I was very impressed. Afterwards we came home and baked chocolate chip cookies. They always enjoy doing that. However I was very disappointed when the motor burnt out in my new mixer. That will teach me to buy a $6 mixer.

Temporary Halt to YouTube Videos of the Girls

There has been a problem with someone making inappropriate comments about children at Paxton Keeley including Abbriel. I have blocked the use of videos that contain Paxton Keeley and I am working on blocking the other videos of the girls until we can find some conclusion to problem. I will be glad to discuss this situation if you want to contact me about it. Feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly.

What I Do with My Spare Time

In case you ever wanted to know what I do with my spare time here it is. I put together Hello Kitty puzzles with my daughters. Not really but Adrienne and I had a good time putting this puzzle together. We also played a marathon game of Monopoly but none of us were awake at the end to know who won. Adrienne insisted upon taking a picture of me with her puzzle so I submitted albeit upside down.

When the Girls Returned Home

When the girls returned home from a week at Grandma's they were very surprised to see the new toys. Okay, so they were not toys per se but a video game with some pretty neat equipment. Adrienne looks like a natural with the guitar doesn't she! Abbie really likes to sing and Adrienne loves playing the drums. We have a great time with Rock Band. If I could only look as cool as Adrienne does with the guitar.
